My Class or Group is not Labeled Correctly

Existing "Groups" have been automatically classified as a "Class" or a "Group" based on the members previously in the Group.

If a "Group" has been misclassified as a "Class" or if a "Class" has been misclassified as a "Group," it is possible to update this label within the Class or Group "Settings" page.

On the web, to change a Group to a Class or vice versa:

  1. Click within the Group or Class on the left sidebar.
  2. Select the "Settings".
  3. Click "Advance Settings".
  4. Select if this is a "Class" (for Students) or a "Group" (for Teachers)
  5. Click "Save Settings" to save the changes.

After completing the steps above, your Class or Group will then appear correctly in your "Class" or "Group" list.

On the mobile App, to change a Group to a Class or vice versa:

  1. Click the "More" icon on the bottom right of the App.
  2. Select "My Groups."
  3. Scroll through the list to find a Group that should be a "Class" and tap to open it.
  4. Click the Gear icon in the upper right.
  5. Scroll to the bottom and in the section "Class/group type" change the Group to a "Class."

After completing the steps above, your Class or Group will then appear correctly in your "Class" or "Group" list.
