Manage your School Affiliation (Teacher)

We understand that sometimes Teachers change schools between district and need to update the information on their Edmodo Profile which is why we've made it easy for teachers to keep their school affiliation up-to-date. 

To change your school affiliation on your account:

  1. Click on your Profile Picture  profile.png in the top toolbar
  2. Select Settings gear.png from the drop-down menu
  3. Click Change in the School section
  4. Enter your Join School Code or search for your school's page via zip code as it's the most efficient way to locate your official school's page
  5. Click Submit to confirm the changes

If you've tried searching for your school but cannot find it's Edmodo page, you may have to add it to your Profile for others to join.

To add your school to our database if it is not found:

  1. Click on your Profile Picture profile.png in the top toolbar
  2. Select Settings gear.png from the drop-down menu
  3. Click Change in the School section
  4. Select Add your School's Information
  5. Enter your school's information
  6. Click Add to create your school's Edmodo and add it to your Profile 

Notes:

  • Changing your school will automatically remove you from any School or District Network with which you are associated.  
  • By default, students' school affiliation is determined by the school affiliation of their teachers'. When students join a Class/Group owned by a teacher that is at a different school, the student will have the option to change the school on their profile.
