If your Students have chosen to connect their Parents to their Student account in Edmodo, all the posts sent to the Student's Group will display in their connected Parents' accounts so they can easily keep up to date with all of their children's school activity!
However, if you would prefer to hide the Notes that you send to your Groups from Parents, you can do that in your Account Settings. To do this:
- On the left-side menu on your Edmodo homepage, click on the Group where you'd like to adjust Parent settings.
- Select "Group Settings" below the Group's name to the right of your Posts, Folders, and Members tabs.
- Click "Manage Group" in the pop-up menu that appears.
- Check the box that says "Hide my Posts from Parents" to set all your Notes in the Group to private.
- Select "Save Settings."
If you decide you want to send a Note to Parents after hiding your posts, you can still send a Note to Parents when posts are hidden.
Note: The default setting is for Parents to be able to see all posts.
