The Wrong Dates or Times Are Showing

If you or your students see the incorrect time or date on an item on Edmodo, it's likely that someone's time zone settings are incorrect, either on the device used to access the site or within the Edmodo account.

Time zone settings affect calendar events in your Edmodo Planner, as well as due dates, post time stamps, and assignment and quiz locks. Teacher, Student and Parent Accounts must share the same time zone settings both in their Edmodo accounts and in the computer or mobile device used to access Edmodo. Please check your own time zone settings on Edmodo, and have your students do the same on their account.

To adjust your time zone settings:

  1. Select the “Down Arrow” icon  next to your Profile Picture on the top toolbar.
  2. Click the “Settings” option in the drop-down menu.
  3. Select your time zone from the "Time Zone" drop-down menu.
  4. Click "Save Personal Info."

Note: Teacher and Parent time zone settings should automatically be set based on the web browser’s time zone settings when the Edmodo Account is first created. Student time zone settings are automatically set based on their first Group's teacher’s settings.
